The Writer’s Helm
OUR FAVORITE WRITING COMMUNITY
Don’t know how to publish a book? We’ve got you! Don’t know how to write a book? Hell yeah, we’ve got you. Are you looking for friends? Then you’ve come to the perfect place (join our Discord today. It’s FREE)!
My mission for this community is to make a one-stop shop for writers in all aspects. I dream of a day when writers never feel lonely in their craft, where life-long friendships are formed, and asking an industry professional a question is encouraged and their response feels supportive.
The Writer’s Helm was originally co-founded by two industry professionals and formally scarred creatives. We know what it can be like out there, and thus, decided to be the change we wanted to see in the world.

“I'm so glad that The Writer's Helm has become such an integral part of my creative process. This group is exactly the kind of judgement-free, low-pressure writing community I was looking for. I love getting to connect with the rest of the crew in writing sessions, workshops, and brainstorming huddles, and I know I can always head to our Discord channel when I need some encouragement or support. Each and every member of The Writer's Helm has inspired me in some way, and I know I'm a better writer for it. It's truly wonderful to have a place where I feel like I belong.”
